Daily Mail 21 April 2005

I wrote many blogs over the theories that big Nazis escaped the Nurnberg trials. Martin Bormann, Kurt Tank (Focke-Wulff designer), Klaus Barbie (The Butcher of Lyon), Richard Heidrich and many others. All via the Vatican. Some rumours said that Adolf himself escaped via Bavaria. At least he planned where to base his headquarters in case he invaded England.
Why does Bridgnorth, in Shropshire, on the road to Wales, mean a great thing for me? You guessed it: Love. She is from Bridgnorth and still is wonderful. The large City next to Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, is twinned with my home town Zutphen. In Gelderland/Holland. That’s how I came to see the Daily Mail article from 2005.

As so many Nazis escaped, why not Hitler. He never made the final blow to the Kingdom! He could have done so in June 1940 at Dunkirk. Where he stopped the attack and let the Brits escape. Allowing the famous armada of British ships any size to evacuate 198.000 British soldiers and saving 140.000 French and Belgium fighters. And when the allies landed in Normandy, Hitler picked the wrong landing location. Keeping his main army near Calais. Saying the landing would come from Dover. Honestly, Hitler did not want war with England, he wanted peace. Him, the ruler of Europe and the Royal family on the other side.
This almost succeeded when in 1941 Rudolph Hess, one of Hitler’s right hand men, secretly flew to England and met the Royals and Prinz Bernhard from the Netherlands. Where? In Bridgnorth. They all disliked Churchill and wanted to make a peace deal with Hitler. Bypassing Churchill. Prinz Bernhard had German roots and so half the Royals. Imagine they would have succeeded? Maybe Adolf would have now an embassy in Bridgnorth?
Luckily Churchill wanted to beat the shit out of Hitler and so he did in the end. With late help of the USA and Canada. Wonder if the the yanks would have endorsed the Hess peace plans?
Well, I know that a lot of the Nazi offspring that live in South America and the USA, still have strong ideas of being in Power. Actually, they do so. All gathered in Brotherhoods like the Masonic Lodge and pull the Davos strings.
