Many Labour voters in the UK hoped that the change-over from the mad, irresponsible Keir Starmer an improvement would bring for country.
Easier travel and Export/Import. Improved business with the European Continent.
But the opposite is reality. Who wants to join Brussels? The EU is bankrupt. It’s member states have to cough up millions of extra €€€€ to keep the machine in Brussels running. It would cost the UK treasury and taxpayers billions. Taxpayers would have to cancel their next holidays.
On the other hand crazy Andy attacks Russia. Blaming Putin to influence the Brexit referendum.
However the Referendum result hat a total different cause.
In June 2016 England in debate about conditions to join the EU. On 28 June 2016 PM David Cameron travelled to Brussels for what in all likelihood uncomfortable talks with EU leaders. He presented the UK conditions to the full EU council. Cameron came back to Whitehall “empty handed”.
I know that the EU always has 2nd thoughts. Realised what a negative UK referendum could mean for the EU. They had a meeting about it and decided they had been harsh to David.
That evening Angela Merkel evening flew in a secret mission to London and told Cameron that he would get what he asked for.
The next morning David presented the news to his party, the Tories. However now the board asked for even better conditions. Cameron could do only one thing, Step DOWN and call for a referendum! The result was a narrow BREXIT!
My personal opinion is that England escaped a EU bankrupty. The UK continued with the best economy in Europe!
Even nowadays England is doing better than most of the EU countries. And don’t have to contribute to a senseless war. The country survived the mad, lying, PM Keir Stamer. However his non-voted follow-up Andy Burnham is more dangerous. He wants to go Brussel and accuses Russia from interfering in English politics.
